When starting up a business, human resource management is as essential as legal issues & accounting.
If an employer employs one or more staff, the Japanese Labor Standard Law will apply as will various other laws, such as Worker's Accident Compensation Law. Employers will also have to consider obligatory welfare costs such as the employer's portion of labor and social insurance contributions.
